Submitted by Mark K on Sun, 04/04/2010 - 11:53Word to the GOP: Either get your act together, or the whole danged nation becomes the Tea Party, and we elect people who have both a spine, and at least some FAINT grasp of how to successfully ACCOMPLISH things, and you become as irrelevant as Pelosi's promises or Barack's campaign speeches. Let me explain.

Obamacare is our fault. Well, sort of.
Submitted by Mark K on Tue, 03/23/2010 - 23:45Our founding fathers drew a bright line in the Constitution with the 10th Amendment. Despite some quarrelling about wording, it was simply a given that the Constitution empowered only specific tasks to the federal government, and those were easy to find and enumerate. It stood quite well, and was well respected for quite some time. FDR wasn't the first or only reason and time this nation strayed, but that bright line stood firm until then. Then, "we" let it get dim. Who are "we"? Well, those who believe in the Constitution.

And so it goes...
Submitted by Mark K on Mon, 03/22/2010 - 01:09Everyone knows that to "help insure poor people" you don't need scores of federal agencies, involvement of the IRS, the feds snooping into everyone's bank accounts, and all the other crapola in Obamacare. You merely need to find out who they are and why they don't insure themselves. And then, address them head-on.

The fix for everything
Submitted by Mark K on Sun, 03/21/2010 - 11:50Well, ladies and gentlemen, we now have the answer to hunger in America.
Pattern it after obamacare:
1. Mandate everyone buy the proper food.
2. Subsidize the poor.
3. Tax food to pay for the subsidies
4. 67 federal agencies to gaurantee proper nutrition, preparation, purchasing, delivery, decided what is "proper" food. Prevent all "non necessary" (not approved) food from being sold. Mandate state and federal provisioned nutrition courses and enforce the purchasing of all proper food via the IRS.
5. Massive fines and jail time for failure to comply.
