Hey, Boss, do you think...???

President Obama retorted to Palin's criticism of his nuclear policy today... It went something like this:

Pressed further on Republican criticism that his strategy restricts the use of nuclear weapons too much, Obama added:

"What I would say to them is, is that if the secretary of defense and the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff are comfortable with it, I'm probably going to take my advice from them and not from Sarah Palin."

The lesson of the Birthers

There's a number of lessons to be learned from the Obama "birther" movement. Some might insist that I'm in it. Not sure of that, but certainly, Obama hasn't proven his natural born status. There's a complex trail of information needed, and possibly a SCOTUS ruling or two, before that can truly be established.

However, here's what fuels the scepticism...

On this Independence Day, I am so very proud of all those who have chosen to serve our great nation and I honor their selflessness and the sacrifices of their families, too.

If I may, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the last 24 hours and share my thoughts with you.
